Wirral Gourmet provides outside catering and private chef services for a wide range of social occasions in Merseyside, Cheshire and throughout the North West. Our food is freshly prepared daily, using local produce and all our food is made in house or provided by specialists suppliers.
Wirral Gourmet is ran by Wirral born chef Rob Lawson, who has enjoyed more than 16 years in the catering business. Rob’s experience includes heading up a brigade of chefs for companies such as Leith’s, Conran restaurants, and more recently, Galeries Lafayette in Dubai. Rob’s experience and travels are reflected in Wirral Gourmet’s food.
Event catering has always been Rob’s main area of expertise and indeed his passion.
“Creating fine foods for large numbers of people brings it’s own unique set of challenges and I’ve always found that really exciting.” says Rob
Wirral Gourmet uses only the best ingredients that the Wirral and surrounding areas has to offer. Our beef and lamb is supplied by Edge’s butchers in New Ferry, vegetables are hand selected at Claremont Farm in Bebington, and fish is supplied by Wards of Birkenhead.
